How to make ginger fizz at home: a syrup scaler, no fermenting needed

A ginger fizz is just ginger syrup, lime and cold soda water, with no fermenting needed. This piece gives the spec for one glass, a simple stovetop syrup, and a scaler where you choose the ginger strength, the syrup per glass and the number of glasses. It shows the batch of sugar, water and fresh ginger, the layers in the glass and roughly how sweet the drink ends up.

Why it works: sugar softens the burn, lime balances the sweetness and cold soda lifts it. Includes variations from spicier to low-sugar.
